7th & 14th March : The Dame of Sark - play reading & auditions

dame of sark imageDawlish Repertory Company are presenting the wonderful and gripping drama, The Dame of Sark by William Douglas-Home, from 14th - 18th June 2016, and would like to invite everyone who is interested in taking part to come along to the play reading on Monday 7th March at 7.30pm at the Shaftesbury Theatre.  This is a great opportunity to read the play in a group and meet the director (Steve Crockford who directed the wonderful Oh What a Lovely War in 2014), find out when rehearsals will be starting and ask any other questions you may have. The play is based on Sybil Hathaway's famous autobiography and is about her experiences of the German occupation of the channel island from 1940-1945. There are parts for 7 males and 2 females of assorted ages, so there are plenty of parts to go around.  The auditions will be held the following Monday, 14th March, at 7.30pm at the theatre.

You don't have to be a member to come along, so we hope to see you there!!
