Pantomime - Little Bo Peep - read through and auditions

Dawlish Repertory Company are delighted to announce that their 2016 pantomime will be Little Bo Peep, written and directed by Paula Smith, who has brought us some fantastic pantomimes over the years. The pantomime will be on from the the 8th-16th January 2016, and we would like to invite everyone who is interested in taking part to please come along to the read through on the 1st September at 7.30pm at the theatre.  You will be able to meet Paula, find out when rehearsals will be starting, and ask any other questions you may have. The auditions will be held on Sunday 6th September starting from 2.30pm in the afternoon, again at the Shaftesbury Theatre.  This is a brand new pantomime and yet is full of familiar characters, such as the Wicked  Queen, Old Mother Hubbard, Little Jack Horner, Mary Mary Quite Contrary, and we mustn't forget Gertrude the Cow!  With Little Bo Peep as our heroine the pantomime tells the tale of her search for her sheep, and her attempt to rescue them from the Wicked Queen, with lots of help (and hindrance) from the characters she meets along the way.  There will be a variety of speaking and comedy parts as always, as well as an active chorus, all of whom must be prepared to sing and dance, and wear whatever silly costumes we can think of!  If you would like to see the current draft of the script, please email Paula on This email address is being protected from spambots.  You don't have to be a member to come along, so we hope to see you there!!
