Treasure Island

by Toby Bradford & Tina Webster, Directed by Paula Foxley

Dawlish Repertory Company's 2018 pantomime will be Treasure Island by Toby Bradford & Tina Webster, from the 5th to the 13th January, and if you would be interested in taking part, please come along to the read through at the Shaftesbury Theatre on Monday 28th August at 7.30pm. There are 12 principal parts of different sizes (some can be played by men or women!) and some smaller speaking parts, as well as a very busy chorus who will be able to dance and sing, as well as join in the slapstick comedy routines. You will meet the director (Paula Foxley), and will have the chance to ask any questions you might have about the production, such as how the audition process works and when the rehearsals start.  The auditions will then take place on the following Sunday, 3rd September from 2pm, again at the Shaftesbury Theatre. You do not need to be a member to come along to the read through or auditions (although if you were offered a part or a role in the production, you would need to join). Alternatively if you are just interested in helping backstage, we would be delighted to meet you at the read through also! If you or your children have ever wanted to get on the Shaftesbury stage, taking part in the panto is a wonderful way to start, so we hope to see you there!
